I have been learning some incredible energy saving tips, especially while it has been so hot this summer and air conditioners are running high. I found this site that actually helps you save thousands on your electric bill by saving energy in our homes and I know we can always use those tips.
In the quest to conserve our earth and reduce waste, there is no better time than to put into practice the essentials of saving money, energy and gas. Our economy has hit everyone pretty hard and it almost seems like the universe is giving us a choice to try and mend our ways of waste or continue down the path of destruction. A few of the most basic ways is to 1.Unplug things that are not being used from the wall (even when appliances are not used, them being plugged in is using energy 2. Use fans instead of air conditioning (we all have heard this one and it is true, it saves alot more energy) 3. Change the light bulbs in your home to energy efficient (yes you pay a little more up front for them but they last alot longer and you are not burning as much).
Let's do our part in helping this earth, its the only one we have.
